Whitney Kendall Fulmer

MS, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor,
Certified Parts and Memory Therapist,
Certified Hypnotherapist

Welcome. I’m Whitney Kendall Fulmer, MS, CPC—a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Certified Parts and Memory Therapist, and Certified Hypnotherapist. For over a decade, I’ve walked alongside and supported individuals ready to break free from anxiety, trauma, and painful relationship cycles. My approach is deeply personal and highly individualized—because healing isn’t one-size-fits-all.

My own path to becoming a therapist was shaped by lived experience. After losing my grandfather—a father figure to me—I faced years of complicated grief and illness anxiety. It wasn’t until I discovered Parts and Memory Therapy that I truly began to understand and heal the deeper roots of those struggles. That journey profoundly shaped how I now work with others.

In therapy, I create a safe, collaborative space where we uncover your unique story and guide your healing using proven methods like Parts and Memory Therapy, EMDR, CBT with Hypnotherapy, and NLP. Whether you’re dealing with panic, OCD, grief, heartbreak, or emotional overwhelm, I tailor treatment to your specific needs, goals, and pace.

Bilingual in English and Spanish, and deeply committed to culturally attuned care, I’m here to support your transformation with compassion and clarity. Healing begins with courage—and I’m honored to help you take that first step.

Services

Individual Counseling

In individual therapy clients can expect a compassionate, safe, and nonjudgmental space to explore their experiences. The process focuses on helping clients understand the impact of trauma, develop healthy coping tools, and begin to heal at their own pace.

Family Therapy

In IFS family therapy, each member explores their inner emotional parts and how they impact family dynamics. With guidance from the therapist, families develop healthier communication, reduce conflict, and build stronger, more compassionate relationships.

Couples Therapy

Partners explore their emotional patterns and learn to communicate with compassion and clarity. The IFS approach helps heal past wounds, reduce reactivity, and strengthen emotional connection. Couples gain deeper understanding, trust, and lasting intimacy.

Clinical Hypnotherapy

Clinical hypnotherapy helps quickly reduce anxiety, heal trauma, boost self-esteem, and increase motivation by accessing the subconscious mind. Clients often experience fast, lasting results with fewer sessions, gaining clarity, confidence, and emotional relief.

Healing Can Transform Every Area of Your Life

By addressing the root causes of anxiety, panic, OCD, PTSD, and relationship conflicts, therapy helps you experience lasting change across all areas of life. You begin to build healthier relationships, communicate with clarity, and feel more grounded in both personal and professional settings. What Clients Are Saying

"I tried everything and did therapy for years. But after 4 sessions with you it is hard to describe how differently it helps me. This is both relief in my body and my brain. This is the peace I always wanted- like the kind of feeling I pray for. I feel proud of myself. It has been a long time since I have felt proud of myself."
summary of review: I came to Whitney overwhelmed by anxiety, grief, and compulsions following the loss of my father. I struggled with OCD, illness anxiety, panic attacks, and isolation. Even everyday tasks like eating out or sleeping through the night felt impossible. Through Whitney’s compassionate and personalized approach—including Parts and Memory Therapy and hypnotherapy—I experienced deep healing. My vertigo subsided, I regained healthy boundaries, began traveling again, and lost over 30 pounds. For the first time in years, I feel joy, peace, and excitement about the future. Whitney’s belief in me helped me reclaim my life, and I’m profoundly grateful for her guidance.
I lost my dog, my companion of 18 years. He was with me through marriage, divorce, and my youngest son growing up. When he died I was devastated. I lost interest in going out with my friends and my girlfriend. I was not sleeping and I did not feel like leaving my house and I was feeling really down. It has been five weeks and now I am thankful to say I am feeling like myself again, sleeping restfully, and I can enjoy the good things in life again.
I’m a 41-year-old male who sought therapy for anxiety and depression. I was initially skeptical about trying therapy, but from the very first session, I felt comfortable and supported. My therapist Whitney demonstrated excellent communication skills, empathy, and a deep understanding of my needs and concerns. She provided me with practical tools and exercises that helped me recognize and manage the negative thought patterns contributing to my anxiety and depression. Thanks to her approach, I’ve seen significant improvements in my mental health. I now navigate my days with a clearer mindset and without falling back into the harmful thinking that used to overwhelm me. Therapy has had a very positive impact on my overall well-being and quality of life. I highly recommend Whitney as a therapist to anyone seeking support and understanding. She truly helped me acknowledge and work through the underlying causes of my anxious thoughts, and I’m grateful for the lasting changes this experience has brought to my life.

Parts and Memory Therapy and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) are not just talk therapy — they’re brain-based, trauma-informed interventions that help rewire the brain’s stress and fear responses.
Here’s how it works:
Memory reprocessing and neutralizing the emotional charge around past traumatic events, will free you from being under the control of your past triggers!  Healing them means that your past no longer drives your reactions, fears, or attachment patterns.

These therapies help deactivate the “alarm system” in your brain that keeps you stuck in overthinking, anxiety, and hypervigilance.

New neural pathways form — helping you build self-trust, inner calm, and more accurate self-perception.

You become less reactive and more reflective — which radically improves communication, boundaries, and emotional regulation.
